The importance of legume genetic resources for breeding

This paper presents the plant genetic resources maintained by Center of Excellence for Legumes Institute Field and Vegetable Crops, National Republic Serbia. The legumes (soybean, alfalfa, red clover, pea vetch) are an invaluable source material a rich divergence development varieties adapted to specific agricultural environmental conditions.
